Frequently Asked Questions

  • My home base is Burlingame, and I serve surrounding communities such as San Mateo, Hillsborough, Millbrae, and others. Clients a long way from Burlingame may be subject to a heightened per-session rate to account for travel cost.

  • I specialize in strength training, specifically coaching compound movements like squats, lunges, presses, and rows. I base my philosophy around the tried and true training methods that give the greatest bang for your buck.

  • No, all are welcome! This is where the “personal” in personal training comes in; whether you’re a busy mom, a professional who wants to get in amazing shape, or a senior that has never before touched a dumbbell – I will create a personalized plan for you.

  • No, you do not – I will provide everything necessary for a strength training workout. If you already have equipment, it is a bonus and we will include it during our sessions.

  • At the beginning of a subscription, a three month commitment is expected, after which subscription becomes month to month. Achieving goals requires longer periods of time than a month, and I desire this commitment to ensure clients are as serious about improvement as I am.

Clients are free to cancel any time (so long as they are not within their initial 3-month commitment), but a subscription that is cancelled mid month will not be refunded. Rather, the subscription will end on the first day of the following month.

  • Clients on monthly subscription are responsible for the session times they book and pay for at the beginning of each month. Clients are given the opportunity to make up missed sessions within the same month they are missed, if my availability allows. Missed sessions do not carry over to the following month.

Any individual sessions outside of monthly subscription are subject to a strict 24-hour notice cancellation policy, and will be charged in full without said notice.

  • Each client will be given three opportunities per year for a 2-week (or less) freeze, in which their usual spots are protected and their monthly dues are prorated to match the amount of sessions they complete. If all freezes are used up, the client will be expected to pay their full monthly dues if they wish to protect their preferred time slots during any additional time away.

  • Similarly to the client, I will attempt to make up any missed days within the same month, and prorate the following months dues by the equivalent session number if they cannot be made up in time. For planned vacations, I will prorate the month’s dues ahead of time.

  • Currently I accept Zelle, cash, or check, with intentions of introducing payment software later on.
